I just got one unit of Redmi Note Pro 8 green 6/64GB for $269 in Shopee.

Considered expensive?

Planning to buy one for backup and for fun even though I have been using iPhone for years. I have quite ok experience with Mi Pad 4 Plus so want to try this.

Did you purchase from shopee/Lazada nillkin official? Seem like no local store selling.
The phone shipped out already, dunno can get the tp before the phone.

I checked. All from China. And that's why I'm not adjusting my TP now, in case I need to get a new one and they don't deliver.

You can msg them whether they send out or not. Anyway, it take close to a week, if I remember correctly.

I am using 2 SIM card, 1 x Starhub and 1 x TPG.

Starhub is used for voice and TPG is for data.

When I am on voice call, data seems to kana jammed. Anybody know how can I get around this?

I installed but didn't do much configuration, hence I find image quality isn't any better than stock. I stick to MIUI stock camera app for now.

Updated to 11.0.6 (during the early random OTA push-out), my GPay with NFC works fine, both on public transport and payment terminals. Check settings on GPay and NFC maybe?

I have tried the phone feature to make the display smaller for 1 hand but too small ! They have 3.5,4 and 4.5 in. Why not 5 in as well ?

ha ha... similar for me. I order 1 TP/Case 1 day later, also took some time.

But it took me a while to fully move all my stuff over to 8 Pro, so about time the TP/Case came !
