Actually why will you want to off your wifi when your phone sleep? Do you want the notifications not to come in ? Then use DND.

If battery concern then no need to concern cos wifi doesn’t eat a lot of battery

Or is it security concern?

Last time Wi-Fi has this setting option. Now don't have?
Switch from sony, which has stamina mode - off data when screen off.

it's android google problem. version 8 and above no more wi-fi sleep.

Yes, WiFi is one element takes up lots of power. Especially signal is weak. Also, many program functions is set to operate only when WiFi is connected eg backup, sync data. These also take power.

cell standby (22%) use 5 times power that of wifi (5%) for 8 hours duration.:s22: mobile data is off.
dont know normal anot:s11:

maybe because starhub Signal strength 1-3 bars only.

just got myself the Note 8 64gb version. value for money phone.

went to jb to look for tempered glass and covers at KSL. none of the stalls have it. had to order from shopee.

Hmmm anywhere that can get note 8T with nfc and global set in local store, as I assume Singapore XM don’t have 8T right?

Finally received my Note 8 Pro from Shopee. Tried to check the delivery address to see if it's to Singapore but seems like they changed it to only state "Official International Version"?

does redmi note 8 have touch screen delay issues at the edges when using keyboard etc? saw many ppl having issues on reddit and xda

I just updated to MIUI 11.0.6 global, but it is still running android 9.

Any news whether it will be updated to android 10?

Speculation that it's coming mid-March alongside Widevine L1 certification fix.
