That magic guy is fickle minded yes I don't deny, but him being cautious is legit. Shopee sells tonnes of fake stuff (ie SD card) but filled with tonnes of positive reviews cause non tech savvy ppl dunno how to check. I once bought a supposedly local set redmi note 8 pro from shopee(based on faq and reviews, and I even msged the seller one hour before) but when I collected the seller claimed local set no more, export set left and offered me a 80 bucks discount. Just my 2 cents on how reviews and sellers answers don't necessarily translate to the actual thing being received.

Every online platform is like that, sure have bad eggs seller
Thats why i only recommend 3 shops in shopee for xiaomi
This is what i have research all these while, nobody spoonfeed me info, all read by myself
Why im so confident on these 3 shops (included official sg warranty) is, there are buyer reviews over here, not new account post

Online platform sometimes hard to avoid
Seller can fake their own 5 stars review
So u need real review from sg buyers like in hwz

Heard so much about sellers on Shopee. I personally hasn't bought anything via Shopee yet, I only use Qoo10.

Not sure how Shopee works, does Shopee guarantee your money if the product isn't delivered to you? Qoo10 has a system where qoo10 holds your money, when you press confirm delivery, then they release payment. Moreover, Qoo10 has more seller reviews and positive and negative reviews.

Fake review always talk until got dragon got tiger one
The real review seldom praise seller, will talk more on products and delivery time, its either they post little words or super long review
The real buyer will also tell u what is bad abt the seller/products/delivery
Fake review will never tell u bad things
Those review only tell u to buy from this shop u can ignore them
Just put urself as a buyer, what kind of review would u post
Then u will know which review is high chance fake

Retail too or those hawkers. Unethical shops can hire fake shoppers to queue, so people think got queue means good.
Just like how influencers buys fake followers. Opps

Can try various the versions by this mod, experiment around which is the most usable. No super stable version until now unlike Xiaomi phones with Qualcomm processors.

I am currently using this one, main issue is the laggy viewfinder, but can utilise the ultrawide lens and Night Sight works.

The dev initially said he is working on the laggy viewfinder but I guess his priorities changed and he'e working on other versions from what I can gather from the Telegram group for Redmi Note 8 Pro GCam.

Shopee has the hold money system. Only when confirm delivery then money will be released. Recently I used Shopee for several small purchases from official stores. No issue at all.

no batt draining for me
everyday I on my phone at 430am, rched home ard 9pm
stil left with at least 60-70%
mainly edmw, flipboard n some web browsing
no gaming cos no time for tt
using adguard too

No issue with the battery life on my Note 8 Pro despite battery stats page showing Android System draining most of the battery. I am consistently getting better battery life on my Note 8 Pro than my Pocophone F1 (could be that extra 500mAh), both on latest Android 10 MIUI builds and similar usage pattern of mostly internet browsing and watching of YouTube and other video streaming apps (no gaming). Initially when I gotten the Note 8 Pro, I was expecting similar battery performance to my Pocophone but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Is not hardware problem. Is Miui 11 issue. Should have been fixed in version 11.0.8.

Note 4x also has this issue with few version of Miui.

Thanks ! Would like to ask if vidmate, when downloading the video, heat up the phone ? I used a app called Tubemate and it tends to heat up.
