Is not hardware problem. Is Miui 11 issue. Should have been fixed in version 11.0.8.

Note 4x also has this issue with few version of Miui.

Anyone facing wifi being 'disconnected' out of sudden and the connected wifi network status written as "DISABLED". have tried connecting to mobile hotspot on the same instance but no issue. the temporary fix is restarting hp.

sian, till now my mum's set still facing such problem despite resetting modem. it's as though wifi has went to sleep.
the whatsapp also go to sleep after some time. even when make a whatsapp call to the phone also cannot wake it up. have to go in whatsapp to receive all the msges/missed calls. everything related to sleep, battery optimisation, background data settings also already touched on but still same.

Got try factory reset and do fresh install of apps? If you had restored from older phone, may face problems.

Did search on youtube but their sim tray looked different.

Look at the photos of my sim tray, tried to put the sim card vertical but no way is it fitting.

I saw this when i was searching online as well. This seems to be a set for the Indian market. Unfortunately mine only has 1 sim tray...

Ya had me stumped for a while as well staring at the stupid tray. Wonder who screwed up. LOL... no choice have to find one from aliexpress then. Thanks!
