google yourself faster and easier. just search install gplay on china miui.

Not contradictory, it just say "some reported" they could get around with unlocked bootloader.

In fact everything is unclear, like unlock bootloader some say needs 360hr
while some could unlock instantly.

I think I better cancel order & wait for official global rom. Any advantage of China over global rom?

2) flashing global rom on china set with unlocked bl will work
3) unlock time is now down to about 168 hours (1 week)
been a year to ascertain all of this. its not "unclear" anymore.
as for the benefit of using china sets, they are usually much cheaper than local set.
