So it's not a physical constraint not to have the extra microsd slot ? I thought it's to save space.

While I prefer to have 2 SIM slots for convenience (though not absolutely necessary most of the time), I more prefer a dedicated slot for a microSD so that I can backup data there in case the phone needs to be reset.

Just visited Mi Store, there's no sign of 128GB Note 8. Will they be launched?

I have done some research. Found out :


1. Redmi Note 8 - SIM tray is 2 x SIM + microSD slot
2. Redmi Note 8 Pro - Dual SIM hybrid microSD slot


From various review, all say that Redmi Note 8 Pro camera is not that good.
