I bought Redmi 10X(Redmi Note 9) exactly 1yr ago replacing my Redmi note 4X. I am hoping my next upgrade will be 2 year later Redmi note 15 lol.

My redmi note 9 global recieved OTA update of MIUI Global 12.5.2(RJOMIXM) this morning. Cant really make out much difference.

If you are using the SG version of Google Pay (download direct from Play Store), is it working smoothly? Mainly for tapping to bus/mrt and cashier payments?

Somehow, mine came pre-installed with US version (not downloadable from Play Store). It works fine but i want to switch over to SG version of Google Pay.

Yes, it works fine. I was originally using the supplied version when I first got the phone, then found out there's a local version with PayNow and SGQR.

Managed to install the pixel experience on the Note 9 Pro 5G! Feels entirely like a new phone. Snappy and clean.

miui launcher doesnt have double tap to lock. only poco launcher.

I've 1 spare phone redmi note 9 (3gb ram+64gb internal),2 days ago upgraded to miui 12.5.4...the ram becomes 3+1 GB..where is this +1gb coming from??..any experts?

I dunno but could be using your storage for that extended ram but I thought that's only in MIUI13. My MIUI13 has it and it can be disabled

using your internal sd storage as virtual RAM.

don't be happy to soon. not sure whether virtual RAM can improve the improvement.

I don't think it's a good idea to keep having your storage constantly being rewritten

even if you are not using virtual ram, your storage will still be constantly rewritten when you open up many apps

Yeah but i think RAM is doing it more quickly at a shorter time period? Dunno but feel a bit uncomfortable with that idea of virtual ram haha. See how it is in the long run
