Wonder what does the S stands for, there isn't a standard Redmi Note 9 to begin with in the first place :s13:

My guess is global Note 9S is the Indian Note 9 Pro. While the Indian Note 9 Pro Max will probably be called Note 9 Pro globally. Maybe got a standard Note 9 upcoming. So entire line got 3 models lol.

I ready the S as the acronym for Series

Meaning the range of RN9 RN9P RN9PM...

Just a wild Guess here....

Sian. Only normal PRO and not PRO MAX. seems like that 64MP sensor for 9 PRO MAX and 8 PRO is the same.

Yea likely the same Sony 64MP IMX686 sensor as RN8P.

However, the Redmi Note 9 Pro (or 9S) features the Samsung 48MP GM2 sensor, which can output true 48MP photo unlike GM1.

A minor correction, Redmi Note 8 Pro uses Samsung Isocell GW1 sensor. It's the Redmi K30/Poco X2 that uses the IMX686. :)

Based on benchmark, SD730 is about the same as Helios G90T in performance correct?
