Honestly, scores doesn't have any impact on our daily usage. All of us have different profile usage. As long as the person using it has no issue, it's totally fine. Being better or the best doesn't really matter.

Redmi Note 8 pro vs note 9s...

Which is better in terms of performance, screen and camera? Have been using note 8 pro for 2 months and quite impressed by it.

Its justification. :o It is almost 100 dollars more for note 9S and the specification is slightly lower than 8pro. :o That's the dilemma and hesitation. :o

Redmi Note 9S got bigger screen, bigger battery capacity and supposedly better camera. Plus it support 2 x SIM card and dedicated microSD card slot.

Provided you don't use NFC lah.

I agree on the screen and battery, but so far review has put the camera a mix bag and in fact similar (ever so slightly inferior to note 8 pro but that becos is early software tuning)

As for dedicated microSD card slot is negated by the pricing. As at the same pricing of 9s you can get bigger Storage capacity for note 8 pro hence muted and nullified the need of SD card.

I bought the note 9s from Lazada for my mum. For some reason the M1 sim card will disconnect sometime during the night and she realises it when she wakes up. She found out that by restarting the phone things will be back to normal, so every morning till date she needs to restart her phone.

She has one M1 sim card for voice calls/sms and one TPG sim card for data (the free trial one).

Anyone has similar issue? I can’t figure out what’s the problem. :s11:

M1 SIM disconnect but how about the TPG SIM?

It could be hardware.

Try this :

1. Swop the SIM card position. Observe and report back.

2. Remove the TPG SIM card and observe.

3. Put the M1 SIM card back to the original slot and observe.

I am using a SIM card adapter for my Redmi Note 8 Pro. Awhile back, my TPG SIM keeps getting disconnected for no reason. Like your mum, need to reset and it reconnects back. But after awhile (maybe less than 1hr), the TPG SIM disconnect again.

I change the SIM card adapter and then ok already.

How much is Redmi Note 8 Pro 6/128 local set now? I find that Redmi Note 8 Pro 6/128 has really decent performance and battery life. Personally, I bought the Redmi Note 8 Pro 6/128 for about $330 from a shop when it first launched.

Now is to consider which one to get for my wife.
