Try switch off your phone then charge to 100% from maybe 10-20%
Anyway battery won't sustain long at 100% due to wear and tear. I know this is quite a new model but sometimes xiaomi qc is not so good :)

Yeah, I am thinking qc but more on the software side 😂 cos having 9hrs+ SOT doesn't feel like a battery qc issue

Does RMN9S coems with screen protector on the 4 camera side?
I seem to see that there's a layer of protective but dun dare to scratch it to verify lol.

Also, anyone installed Gcam? I tried to zoom from the Gcam and take the shot. but somehow the shot wasnt saved and sometimes the app just crashed. Anyone face the same issue too? Im using Gcam 7.3.018

Has the Redmi Note 9S got the firmware update yet?

For those that are using, any glaring issue with this phone?

Zzzzz today charge the phone to 100% and within 11mins of browsing, already dropped 4%. Think their firmware is really buggy 😂 give up trying le thought it would be fine after yesterday. I guess as long as I can get 8+ SOT I don't care much le

considering between N8P or N9S...
NFC not a must. Using for games, and tanky battery life is a big plus. Dont really need camera. Never used a Mediatek Helio G90T or SD720G device before. How energy efficient are they?
Basically it's a decision on Mediatek Helio G90T vs SD 720G....

Thanks

Ok another issue I've been observing. When I turn on wifi, about 30-40% of the time it doesn't auto connect or takes really long time to connect and most of the time I have to go into Settings and click on the SSID itself then it connect.

Anytime got this problem?

The 720G is much more battery efficient compared to the G90T. This is due to the G90T using a older 12nm layout, and the 720G using a newer 8nm layout which means that it requires less power to utilize the chip.

While the G90T is slightly better in benchmarks, it will have worse battery life compared to the 720G. One example is the Realme 6 and 6 Pro where both have the same 4300mah battery, the 6 has the G90T and 6 Pro had the 720G. The 6 Pro managed about 8 hours of SOT whereas the 6 only managed 5.

Ok thanks. I'm comparing this against the Mi Note 10 Lite which uses the new Sony IMX686 sensor.

Not sure abt the local prices of both phones. Have to wait.
Actually, GM2 is for the Note 9s. The sensor for the Note 9 Pro is unconfirmed, but most likely a GW1
