Can Note 9S do voice recording of phone calls?

There's 2 app for phone call.
1. Xiaomi phone app, can do voice call recording.
2. Google phone app, doesn't support voice call recording.
Older xiaomi phone comes with xiaomi phone app. Newer model like note 9s comes with Google phone app.

Went to a Xiaomi shop at JEM just now and the person said that the 9s is not available? Any idea where I can go to have a look at it?

Read some of the reviews from Lazada and notice a "wifi connection" and "slow due to 4GB". Anyone using 9s and can help to confirm if the 9s is okay?

I Donno but I just putting my 0.2 cents worth do take note the review unit that you saw is a global / Eu version or a cn version I think cn version is using xiaomi, Eu/ global might be using Google

Redmi note 9 strictly for what you mentioned. But redmi note 9s is a better buy by topping up a bit.

try removing the battery saver on the app. by default, I think all apps will be placed under battery saver mode.

It is indeed under battery saver mode. I just changed its restrictions. Will see if it makes a difference. I dont rmb my note 4x lagging in battery mode tho. If battery saver mode is indeed the cause, then the note 9 is actually quite unusable by default since apps like IG will lag.

Edit: I searched online for users facing similar issues. It is indeed a bug but theres a stop gap solution.

Go to "Settings" Then "Display" Then "Notch & Status bar" Then "Hide Notch" Then select the third option "Hide & move status bar"

I tried it on the game Hill Climb Racing without changing its battery saving settings. It used to lag like mad but now its smooth. The only downside to this solution is that it makes your screen black at the top where the camera is. I guess have to live with it till they roll out the next update.

Edit 2 : IG story still lagging after a few swipes even without battery restrictions or doing the above method.
