Definitely the one newer and with the better specsWould you get pad 2 11, 8gb 256gb @ $250
Or
Pad 2 pro 6gb 128gb also at $250?

Thanks. So despite having lesser 2gb of ram that’s alright ya? I haven’t been following pad 2 pro price, is this ok to buy or can wait for better deal?Definitely the one newer and with the better specs
I meant, I would be choosing the 8+256GB option anytime over the 6+128GB if both cost the same.Thanks. So despite having lesser 2gb of ram that’s alright ya? I haven’t been following pad 2 pro price, is this ok to buy or can wait for better deal?
No, the 8gb would cost almost another $100.I meant, I would be choosing the 8+256GB option anytime over the 6+128GB if both cost the same.
As with most things, not in a rush can wait further for "potential" price drops since with the current economic and global situations, it's getting very unpredictable and hard for price to remain what more on price drops.
You were facing laggy issue ain't it so, the 6+128GB ain't an option unless you are looking to upgrade again soon? No, the 8gb would cost almost another $100.
my scenario for “costing the same” would be the older model pad 2 11 inch with 8gb/256 for $250, whereas the pad 2 pro cost also $250 but with a 6gb/128 variant.
The laggy issue is on her old tablet Lenovo m11, I think the specs is 4gb/128gb variant. You were facing laggy issue ain't it so, the 6+128GB ain't an option unless you are looking to upgrade again soon?
Minimally 8GB of RAM to avoid the same scenario on the Lenovo I would say.The laggy issue is on her old tablet Lenovo m11, I think the specs is 4gb/128gb variant.
Actually now that I saw the poco m1 (looks like Xiaomi rebrand of the pad 2 pro) is also $250 and specs is 8gb, 256gb, think it makes most sense to get the m1.
Okay thanks. Will get the m1 then. Wonder why would the m1 be priced like this compared to the pad 2 pro…Minimally 8GB of RAM to avoid the same scenario on the Lenovo I would say.
Nowadays pretty difficult honestly... not urgent then wait.Okay thanks. Will get the m1 then. Wonder why would the m1 be priced like this compared to the pad 2 pro…
Hmm… do you mean $250 is not a good price for the poco?Nowadays pretty difficult honestly... not urgent then wait.
It's good and can potentially be better. Have you bought the POCO M1 tablet?Hmm… do you mean $250 is not a good price for the poco?
Yes I did. Got it at $240.It's good and can potentially be better. Have you bought the POCO M1 tablet?

Poco pad c1 is just another variant of the redmi pad 2 9.7, but with a 6gb ram version
Hence posted it here. Wasn't in response to your earlier discussion
Yes, different variantsBut the Pad 2 9.7 has 4G support comapred to the POCO tablets that are just WIFI only.
Yes, pretty messy. Always good to verify if there's 4G variant for those that need cellular support for Xiaomi tablets.Yes, different variants
Just to clarify, redmi pad 2 9.7 has 2 variants, one is wifi-only, another is 4g + wifi
