POCO Pad is the rebranded Redmi Pad Pro, not Pad 1. The processor of this Redmi Pad 2 is worse than POCO Pad.
I think it's released to fight with Oppo Pad SE. In terms of specs, Redmi Pad 2 is better as it has microSD... But OS probably Oppo is better...
Yeah, their naming is getting confusing especially for overseas markets as they keep rebrand here and there.

During the recent 6.6 sales on Shopee, Redmi Pad Pro 8/128Gb set was down to only $233 after discounts. It was a very tempting offer indeed, but I still went with the newly launched Pad 2 at $218. Reason being the more compact size and potentially better battery life (from my experience with the Pad 1).
Having said that, last checked today, Redmi Pad Pro 8/128Gb is priced at $269 after discounts on Shopee, and that's the price during last year's sales.

So if a bigger 12.1" screen estate, 33w charging, Wifi 6 and stronger 7s Gen 2 SoC matter more, then the Pad Pro is certainly a steal at $233

Previously, I had a green Pad 1 and that was a really legit green shade. This time round, Pad 2's green should be called Gaslight Green instead
