Another difference, M10 gen 3 sold in Singapore has lte. Big advantage when one can use data sim from as low as $5 a month

True but buying the local version is pretty expensive relatively speaking... I think buying the China version is still bang for buck... cos you can always tap on your phone's data plan if you take the tablet out...

Got, check out Harvey Norman... I played with the display set at Jurong Point's Harvey Norman... that uses a Helio G99 chip set... not the SD680 for the Xiaoxin Pad 2022 (China version)...

Physical set available at some harvey norman / courts. Recommend to try it out first
I tried out... 4 GB RAM is too little... UI is not smooth and stutters quite a bit... the 64 GB storage is really small... overall for the price asked for - not worth it... even the LTE slot isn't worth it... I rather have a UI UX that is smooth and fluid... so minimum 6 GB RAM...

Wow! $369 is pretty high price for what is essentially a basic tablet?

Your MiPad 4 Plus is a 10.1" tablet, while this is a 10.61" tablet - that's where the extra size comes in...

I'm comparing this Redmi Pad to a Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 2022 or the global equivalent of the Lenovo Tab M10 3rd Gen - identical specs save for the Redmi have 90 Hz screen, and the Helios G99 vs the Snapdragon 680... oh, the Redmi has faster storage with UFS 2.2 while the Lenovo is eMCP...
That lenovo seems very similar to oppo pad air in specs

Anyone getting the s6 lite instead? At $400 with snapdragon and s pen, seems like a good buy.

Good option too... but price difference big?
Sometimes tab s6 lite cost $350 on Amazon.
S6 lite - snapdragon, 4gb 64gb storage and s pen
Redmi pad - 6gb 128gb storage.
Just not sure performance any difference

I also bought 1 set from RedWhite Mobile yesterday. Haven't touch an official local set tablet for the past 2 years, so it's a refreshing break from all the China Roms.
