Other then Malaysia.
Anyone tried the roaming success in other countries?

I roam to Wuhan, connected to China Unicom at 4G+, able to receive sms. I did not use data there, I bought a china data sim card from qoo10 cheaper

Thanks.
But you may need to use roaming data in order to access banned sites in china eg Google etc.

I tried yesterday my new RedONE ($8 plan) in JB. Digi no mobile data signal (weird) but with My Maxis it goes 4G and perf was ok enough for a WhatsApp video call. Free roaming rocks (Malaysia only of course).

So not reliable, should avoid?

Your bundle data at 4G, including when roaming in Malaysia, after that, throttled speed. Go read up their website
