I heard that there will be a few weeks of training, followed by our postings to the airbases nearest to our homes. It's not that bad, according to my friend. We have to book in really soon...

This is not true at all.

Posting is based on manpower demand.

Different bases have different manning. Therefore its not of any comparison.

As far as what i know, PLAB is the most shiong for training, even for ASLC for specs.

dont worry about your lost gortex jacket. you most probably wont ever need it as a security trooper. anyway its not an issued item so its not on sale in any emart.

i kena that in my course 03/10 or sth likedat. LOL my platoon is the only 1 never tio cuz we got the most number of lao jiao and we saw the commanders beo us because we supposed to march from point to point but normally walk back LOL

how we confirm for you leh? The contents of the training depends on what the training officer (TO) wants you to do. He can tekan you, or he can welfare you.

Moreover, digging fire trench is already been taught at least once in training at 2 PDF or BMT..

RP does not theoretically exists now. It is ST.

Yes, STs can be posted to army, RSAF or RSN.

For RSN, there are 2 division in their defence squadron, land or sea. Sea is guarded by sea soldiers, while the land is guarded by STs...

Just to add, minority will be selected for the Basic Dog Handler course and posted to various airbases as a Dog Handler.
