Where is your new unit? i dunno for the navy and army units, but for airforce, you need to undergo FDC(field defence course).

The structure and contents of FDC differs batches to batches. Depending on your TO/TWO.

As i said before, it depends on which unit you're assigned to protect.

army, navy and airforce have all different training and orientation period. You need to at least tell me you're going to army, navy or airforce, so that i can roughly tell you what to expect....

For airforce, you dont have field camp, but you're expected to dig trench or scrapes... However, its subjected to changes..

here is to what i know .

army= 2 weeks of extra training . bascially its slack till the final exercise which is pretty tough imho.

navy= i not so sure since i dont have much frens there but basically got land side and sea side. have to go for swimming lessons and learn to mount rubber dinghy.

air force= the FDC havent not been conducted for quite some time at least at where i used to be in.FDC is damn siong so maybe if airbase have enough manpower than they will conduct the course. basically its dig shell scrap and all that crap ting at the back of some ulu spot in the base

In the past, NSF air force RPs is under RSAF & will have their ICT back at RSAF.

However now NSF air force RPs is under Prem-Army (Attach-RSAF) & will have their ICT back at SAF-2PDF.

Actually it's depending on manpower and batch.

The batch i'm in is still attached to RSAF for ICT. The batch before me, as well as some mono-intake batches are posted to infantry units under 2 PDF...
