So would there still be route marches, outfield, etc?

GamerXz said it's a 8-week course. But I heard from my friend that it's a 6-week course. So, I guess I should just find out myself when I go in there...

Yep. I'll see you there on Monday! Think got field camp but not sure about route march.

I quite worried about it cos currently have a tear in my shoulder muscle and undergoing treatment. Don't know how it will affect the training. Don't want to OOC on first day when I show them the specialist memo. Haha.

Yea... my friend just told me 2D1N... Camo on once again.

Hmmm, let's hope that the training won't be straining your body too much, especially your shoulders, and you should be safe.

Btw, which coy were you from?

it will be a 6 weeks common phase course, after which sea soldier and fds will be posted out to their respective bases. the army guys will stay on for 2 more weeks. Expect gpmg, sar21, m16 live firing as well as 2d1n field camp and chemical defense.

The FDS and sea soldier already know their vocations from BMT posting order right?

Sea soldiers will remain as sea soldiers.

RPs will be splited into two: army and airforce (aka fds).

Go army: song. Go airforce be fds: not song.

After 6 weeks fds and semens will be posted. Army phase ppl will stay back for another 2 weeks.

Then of the army phase people, some will remain as level 3 response force in clementi (stay-in mon fri).

So dont think your posting as RP is damn good. If u go airbase or some fugged up army camp be prepared to grow eye bags. Or stand on the podium as sentry. Because RPs dont work 8 to 5 unlike last time. Now they work 48 hr shift and 24 hrs off (depending on camp... Some work 48 off 48). So you can see it eating into weekends and ur mid nights.

Ya didn't think it was good lor. But could have been worse la. Some of my friends posted to rifleman, armour infantry etc.

Are you an RP yourself? How is the training pace and intensity? Thanks!

LOL bro. Why you edited out the part about burning weekends and stuff? Don't want to scare us is it? haha!

Hahaha its slack in clementi no worries.

Yup no point scaring the new guys. Some will like it, some wont. And it ultimately depends on where you got posted to :D

Am not really looking forward to it now...

But ultimately, it's still mind over body, psycho-time.
