Thats classic sonystyle! They often not give you the best of all features in one device, which I find samsung does.

Sammy is more balanced with its offering, while some of its features are mediocre.

Sony phones may be lacking features, but its main features are great, if not awesome.

Nope.. Lumia 520 doesn't come with flash, as you can see the photo isn't as noisy as Xperia ZU.

As for Lumia 1020, 925, & 800 the LED/Xenon flash was fired.


I think it'll be fair to say that XZU camera is around the same as iPad Mini, like most tablets I've..

You notice too? Maybe promoters, they are everywhere and you can actually spot them singing praises. Same group of regulars who are always around and defensive, easily can spot some. Look and read carefully on their posts. Suggest you read more at diff. site, not just 1.

Overall, its a great device if you want it for media consumption, gaming, and all day long battery life. Certainly they didn't advertise this with a great camera.

lol they think the phone alone is not bigger enough to carry outside, and suggest that people should carry a separated lens-stype camera so that you can capture photos when and where you want. Smartass Sony.

Anyway I think the camera's quality is too low to be a part of this great phone. The photo is simply unacceptable and if that's how it means, Sony may as well completely remove the camera from the phone. The photos really can't be used in any circumstance.

Why would they need 7MP when the photos look very bad even in 1024x768 resolution?

If you've read the official guide, they do advertise their camera there and it seems great.

then I'd prefer to bring my Nikon 5100 with me all the time... does not make much different though. At least the Nikon has its strap to hang around your neck, and don't need to on your phone to run app or ****.

both are better than mine taken by ZU. What can be the reason? My ones always have a lot of noise.
perhaps the amount of light really play very important role here.
