My bro learnt manual from him, he says Mr Tay is not bad. One thing i remembered was his rates are really good at $28/hr with fetch and send service directly from my house which was really convenient for him.

I on the other hand took Auto with Mr Teo, one of their auto instructors. Pickup was at Eunos MRT, it was a very pleasant experience and passed in 18 lessons. Rates also about the same as Mr Tay. If you guys interested in the contact can just request from le driving instructors website, they will arrange and pass you the contact.

Any reviews about Daniel Ng?
He quoted 51 per lesson and 70 for reg.

Its slightly on the higher side.. but is he worth the premium?

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions to ask so please bear with me.

I have passed my BTT and my FTT is in early March, while PDL expires in April.

I've only had 2 PDI previously and both were bad experiences, bad tempered, doesn't give clear instructions, impatient. i quitted after around 1 or 2 lessons.
Because of these 2 experiences i'm beginning to doubt myself with regards to Manual Driving, and am considering to switch to Auto.

i'll need some advice on what should i do,

1) Learn Manual, but enrol in SSDC
2) Learn Manual, try another PDI
3) Learn Auto, enrol in SSDC
4) Learn Auto, PDI

The experiences previously has made me afraid of learning driving, would appreciate advice on what i should do, haha. btw i live in yishun area. So yeah, SSDC/ north area.

I passed my licence a year ago. For me i learn manual, i started with PDI for a few lesson, change a few, some bad experience too or maybe i am a slow learner. After that i decided to enrol in driving centre. Personally i feel that driving centre has a structure or step by step teaching method. One disadvantage is that for driving centre you do spent more than learning from PDI.

But i passed my TP the first time so i think its worth it as long as i passed. Anyway driving is fun you shouldn't be afraid of learning to driving, its all about practice and once you get the hang of it its really not that difficult. Some people belong to the slow learner category(like me) some people are fast learner and choose PDI which can save some $.

my PDI told me PDI is better as it is 1 to 1. understand you better and teach better. I think end of the day is heng/suay thingy.

So far he is ok with me, as I advance to difficult task, he start to raise voice. I guess it part of parcel during learning. Asked him if I will need take more than 30 lesson. He say ... "you?? definitely." What can I do? :)
