i see that Mr Tan KK has quite a no of students (more than 40)

just wondering for such instructors that have more than 40 students at any time, will it pose much of a problem trying to book him for lessons? Like maybe need to book 1 month in advance instead of just 1-2 weeks?

No such thing as a month. But you can book a month in advance, if you scared no slots of have your schedule ready. There's a friendly desk lady that will help you will all your bookings.

Yeap. Always. Rain or shine. Same procedure. Meet at driving centre in bedok > driving to ubi/CDC > back to bedok. Basically lesson start and end at Bedok.

I passed my BTT last month and had already obtained the PDL. Would like to engage a private driving instructor. I live in Upper Bukit Timah and currently working so I can only do lessons from 6:30 onwards.

Does anyone have any contacts of English speaking and reliable instructor around my vicinity? Would be great if he offers pick up and drop off service.

On a side note, I am freaking out with with my final theory test which is on 15th September as when I read the guide book ,I catch no balls sometimes as I have no practical experience to relate to. Has anyone passed FTT successfully with zero-practical experience?

Actually ftt is quite simple, just ans the best choice given, eg always give way, always slow down, and memorise the ans from ur e-trial. It helps if u know manual driving, things like clutch and gear r being asked, go online for free practise too until u r familiar. Download app in ur mobile too.

Hi to all hwz people, i've just pass with 1st attempt at ssdc with 4points (MANUAL) only (gosh always screwing up and nervous during lesson) lucky and im so happy!

i would like recommend this pte instructor mr yeo(sembawang mrt) ( 9832 4786 ) recommended by my gf who got her license 6years ago.

i took total of 25 manual lesson with him ( 7 circuit training ) SSDC

mr yeo's pros :
do not use handphone while youre driving.
very patient.
taught everything needed to be learn.
dont scold at u even tho u do wrong ( i got scolded ONLY ONCE by him , but it was my fault deserved to get scolding, i was free-wheeling down the slope inside circuit training when next day is my tp )
he made me very relax, while im driving. we talk almost everything relating to work, even SOCCER( i help him place bets HAHA), overseas.
nice toyota car, always service his car. well taken care.

cons :
his lesson need to be book like almost 2week in advance.
his time slot always full.

he only pick up @ sembawang mrt and charged 32$/h

he is not those instructor that want u to fail and take lesson again.
before my tp, he kept reminding me almost all my weak spot and kept saying and saying the same thing and said that he do not wish to see me taking lesson with him again. i would like to thank mr yeo, without him i dont think ill able to pas my 1st attempt!
