I'm a lady FYI.

And I didn't learn from many instructors. I called the boss' number for booking, and they were assigned to me. First time I didnt know who best, so when they offered me Chong I agreed. After a few times with her I decided enough was enough, I went to talk to the boss. Asked for Kenny (through friend's WOM recommendation) and was given. Then under Kenny a few times, sadly his leg got injured, still currently on MC. I didn't want to wait for Kenny to return (depending on his leg, might be a matter of weeks) as I was worried about forgetting how to drive by that time. So Sam was offered as replacement, and I took that. Found Sam acceptable so sticking with him for the time being.

o...lady, ic:D...so u pass ur class 3 liao? sis

ive read some fairly bad comments about Mr Ng from YCK who teaches 3A somewhere in this 30 page thread. Now i think ill go for Mr William since ive changed my mind to take class 3 instead and his feedback from these pages was pretty good. Waiting for him to call me back soon,

****. He did the same thing too. Wind down the screen and smoke. Just had my first lesson with him. Never say properly which direction he want to go next and keep hitting your hand. Zzz. Is it possible to withdraw after submitting enrollment fee? My first lesson he use my time go top up petrol. NB.

Think it's good if you change. I also planning to change. But don't know any better PDI around in YCK area or not...

dun learn private la.... they keep drag ur time... learn from bbdc =D

you from bbdc also?
lol, why helping to promote ****.

i guess ppl will choose private because of the rates, i pass on first attempt from bbdc, cost me 1.8k, any private students will have gotten their license cheaper, i suppose so?

Well not really. I cant take school de due to personal issues. First, I heard school de dont have fixed instructor and I don't like that. I want to be able to choose who teaches me. Secondly, my family/work commitments are usually on short notice, so I want the driving instructor to be flexible with hours.

I'm prepared to spend around 1.5k for a first time pass, that includes the 100+ I spent on theory tests and books.

do you stay anywhere near bbdc?
if you havent take your theory, i will strongly suggest bbdc just for it's theory, the practices they have there really help alot.
it becomes 'hard' to fail if you keep going for their practices :s13:
just my 2 cents...

hmm, for bbdc, you're able to choose who you want as your instructor for every lesson, but then again, fees will increase by $5+, meaning per lesson of an hour and 40 mins will cost you around $64.92 for non-peak hours and $74.92 for peak hours, very expensive imo.

for bbdc system, you can book your lessons as early as 1-2 months ago, as for cancellations, you can cancel anytime but if you do so just 24 or 48 hours (i forgot) before the lesson, you will not get a refund, but anything earlier than that, you will get your money back.

Theory I passed few months back, bought the books and self studied. School really quite expensive, I not that rich lol. Mine now is 28/hr (30/hr if peak), can choose instructor. If cancellation or change timing, just give the boss a call 72hrs in advance. And considering that you can choose instructor for private, I don't see myself paying the extra $5+ per lesson in school just to pick.

oh, i had 25 lessons, spent 1.8k. everything one try also, btt, ftt, tp.

23 lessons to complete those stages and 2 more for revision.

private should be lesser?
i had a friend in e past, took only 15 lessons, took tp, pass on first attempt.
i've seen somewhere on a forum that a particular person spend less than $500 on his/her license, but well, that's private.

i dont know much about private at that time, if not i think i also will take up private, rates are so much cheaper.
