Reliable Private Driving Instructor?

Hi all, i would like to personally recommend my private driving instructor Loh Lian Choon. I just pass my class 3a license under him and i can say he is not just good or legitimate driving instructor but you really get what you pay for when you take his lessons.
During his lessons he won’t scold you unless u make a serious mistake like hitting curb many time or when you know you gonna hit the curb and still hit, changing lanes and not looking out for vehicles etc (i mean all driving instructors rely on their car for their income what, naturally they will scold you one). He will correct your every mistake and explain to you. He will teach all you need to know about the different routes that are tested.
In circuit, he also point out what to watch out for and how to do each course whereby guaranteed you will never go wrong (if u still hit curb after all the practice then its your problem alr). He will let you take a pic of the circuit he draw out as well so you can revise.
He only teach in mandarin and pick up at Serangoon or Eunos MRT only. He charge around $60 for his lessons, exp maybe but hey you get what you pay for. He will make sure to not only teach you to pass but also will give you many useful tips on driving on the road etc (he really hates reckless drivers, so you understand why he doing this). He give good tips on overtaking vehicles or changing lanes which is more practical than what is tested on driving test.

lousy instructor

Hi guys,

don't ever use the agency passfastdrivinginstructor of sg-instructor to find your private instructor. Gotten mine there and assigned this instructor called Mr Tay. Worst instructor ever, I was being nice and just continue with him as I thought since he had students passed test before(as sometimes he would share with me), I just think maybe I am able to pass too.

Instead, I took 30 lessons with him and failed twice for auto!!!!! Seriously, spend more than 3k and yet havent get my license.

Agency guy named Sean assigned him to me, the following are reasons why I hate him so much.

He always like to interfere in my driving, every single time, especially in circuit and refuse to let me drive on my own - (trust me, don;t defend him by saying maybe im driving recklessly and he needs to interefere to ensure safety, we are in circuit, and even normal turning into different stations he also want interefere, I'm not that lousy okay, can tell he just god noes dun trust my driving skills, ass)

1) interfering by stepping on his safety break constantly. Sometimes even stop for me without telling me reason

2)keep touching my steering wheel & even pull handbrake and change reverse gear for me almost every practical lessons, just because he think im too slow and causing inconvenience to others. and sometimes im slow because im looking for my turning point in parking and thinking how to correct myself to get into the lot, whats wrong for this?

3) always tell me when to turn in for parking instead of telling me what to look out for as turning point. Gave me attitude when i spoke up telling him to let me drive myself in the circuit.

And all these are done even during the warm up before my tests - even though I had repeatedly told him not to and to let me practice on my own.

4) whenever i told him could i practise things im weak at such as U turn or some items in circuit again, he would pretend he never hear and just go with his plan

5) always demoralized me, calling me rod hazard, complaining and saying i so slow i will fail the test, instead of helping me to improve.

I feel super unprepared for both my practical test and it seems like he doesn’t care. He jus wan end the lesson since he is just a ‘salaried worker’ which he keep repeating during the lesson so i dun think he care about the passing rate.

I trust him for second time as I thought maybe i won't be so suay and fail twice ba, but yes i failed. I mean you guys can defend by saying my own judgement is bad, but hey, him as a instructor, shouldnt him prepare me well, make me feel confident for driving myself. But he keep interefering, so what if i managed to turn and park properly, it was done by myself, during test, im all by myself, he not there to help me. Worse is, i know how to help myself to improve, voice out, kena ignored by this old instructor.

Could only blame myself for going this lousy agency, what elsezzzzz. Anw guys, dun go for this agency.
