anyway, he has already refunded me. i'm happy.

case closed.

Glad you got your money back. Sorry things didn't work out.

I just want to say that I recommended him last year because I had terrible experiences with PDIs, and had changed about 3 times before I found Mr Yeo. And I was just thankful that he was a good teacher. (Well, at least to me. You might disagree. =:p)

In any case, hope you find a better PDI soon and you can share with the rest of the butties here. :)

Hello guys!

Just want to recommend a private driving instructor which i find him very good in teaching, yet very patience. He is able to teach me alot of thing during my driving lesson. He drills alot of little mistakes such as he emphasize alot on blindspot, doing safety checks.

I must say myself is a very blur and "sotong" as his student. As i always have a low in confidence, I always thought i would definitely suck in driving and can't be normal as other people as they would drive normally which i cant, because i couldnt really keep a look out much when driving during my early stage of learning driving.

But this PDI i had is really good and he proves me wrong that he told me " if you really want to do well, you must do it and show it, not just by saying" after listening to him. Everytime i have my lesson, i would always remember what he told me.

After having many lesson with him, i learnt alot of thing from him, not just he only teaches me about driving, he told me in driving, you need to be flexible and you cannot be very "theory". He also told me alot of things in life that i shouldn't do such as being a "blur sotong" person as he would affect every aspect of things i do.

So i would definitely highly recommend this private driving instructor for anyone would be interested to learn Manual and learns at Ubi. He just changed his car to Toyota Vios too, which much more easier to learn!:s13:

Oh ya. Last but not least, I just passed yesterday with first attempt which i was super happy that i have him as my first PDI!

His name is Francis Chow Jie Seng, hp no. 90087777

I didn't regret at all when learning from him! He's honest in his charging fees and punctual. His teaching technique is very good and easy to learn. He told me some of the CDC tester likes his teaching style which enable all of his students go for test to be very prepared and steady.

Really special thanks to him, and people who previously recommend him to me.

Congrats whatme! :D

Now, don't be a blur sotong on the road, okay? lol.

Thanks! Definitely i won't be as blur as in the early stage of me. Haha!

I just went for a drive in a auto car as i learn manual...

Plus not using the technique of parking that the test require to park, absolutely more challenging now.

GXGX! Drive safely.

Maybe you can also list down his fees/ charges etc, so that it will be easier for other forummers and they dont have to PM you for details.

With your recommendation, guess your PDI is going to be very busy for the next few months.

Cheers!

Thanks valuesniper :) sure!

I wanted to list down his fees but i afraid it wouldn't be appropriate to list his fees over here.. I afraid he might don't like it. lol..

But anyway, he dont do fetch service, which i find it good too. No point driving around your house area where the test route are actually at Ubi.. :D

I dont think he will mind lah... its also more convenient for ppl to know in advance and make the decision rather than they call your PDI and ask abt the charges, which is a waste of time for everybody.

My PDI doesnt do fetching also. Btw, if the PDI does fetching, does it 'eat' into my time slot or the PDI's time?

Okay. Your right! :D

Mr Chow's charges are $26/hr for off-peak and $28/hr for peak hour..

His quite busy but i think he still can accommodate more students if they are keen bah.

I think it "eats" up the time bah.. as my brother who previously learn from a instructor where by the instructor has the fetch service..

He will be overloaded soon... just like Mr Yeo :D

Back to topic, how abt registration fees, booking fee for TP test, warm-up, private circuit etc?

If fetching 'eats' into my time, i will rather travel and meet my PDI instead. I am paying to learn to drive, not paying my PDI to drive and meet me.

Hope he wont able to overload la.. Sometimes while driving lesson with him, notice he quite good in juggling student's time with other student, as in he wont let you really wait for 2 week just for a lesson, but previously, as im a new student, i waited him for 2 week before enrolling to him, simply reason - he have to find time to slot me in, but afterward, he focus on me and give me more lesson liao :s22:

1. I'm a private student. Do u recommend to take the FTT first before going for practical driving lessons? Or go for practical lessons then in the middle go for it?

2. Must i sign up the PDL myself or the PDI can help me to book?

3. Any good PDI for auto can recommend?

Hi all.. Any of you have contacts for manual PDI at CDC?

Also, was wondering if any of you have ever taken lessons with Mr Sidik at CDC? If so, your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
