Hi.

Ive got a private instructor to recommend. Not sure if i've posted this before.

My instructor is based in ubi and he's flexible with pick-ups and drop off points. He teaches manuel and he speaks mandarin and english so no communication problem. He's patient with his student. I passed on my first attempt.

His name is Frankie, you can contact him at 90090901.

Cheers.

Just called up this PDI (Lim Pien Hong) who teaches auto & manual. He does pick ups at sengkang.

He asked me if I had learnt driving before and I said "No", straight away he quoted me $32/hr... is this consider ex? Any reviews on this instructor?

You going to learn manual or auto with him? if im not wrong, maybe he charging you the auto lesson fee?

If not.. the current standard price is around 22~28sgd per hour..

I am learning Auto... so $32/hr for auto car is normal? I have been reading the thread, most of you got PDI less than $30...I didn't ask about what car he is driving... he sounded like an uncle beng pattern. lol dunno if I should really take him...

If in this case. 32$ per hour should be a good rate. Auto are expensive than manual lesson. U know auto car cost more than manual right? :)

My bro learn auto is around 39 dollar last time too.

Hi all,

I would say...choose a PDI which is willing to teach..you can call up Mr Chua Tiam Hwee which stated in the traffic police website. He's now in SSDC.

I have fail my test in UBI(You can see my reply in this forum few months ago). Afterwhich, i switch to him after friend recommandation and pass my test last week with only 4 points deduction instead of 28 points in UBI.

$27/hr and $40/1.5hr....it depend on how fast you learn...once ready, he will ask you to book your TP as per my friend situtation.

As for me, i have already have experiance in driving in UBI. Therefore, he call me to book my test immediately. In total, i attended 12 lesson. Learn a lot of him. Regret not changing to him during my lesson in UBI.

He have highest passing rate if you are to go to TP website.
