Yes...private a bit hard to pass circuit, main road no problem....
but sch also no 100% will pass.....not forget that school is much more exp
as a learner, during TP, its either u heng or u sway, so many stories of sabotage by fellow road users or pedestrians, it really boils down to how u react to situation, so abit of common sense when controlling the vehicle still apply, not forgetting those safety checks and basic traffic rules
i also gotto admit school system although systematic BUT sometimes because $ involved in learning, u certainly will feel it is too rigid.
u confident, instructor no issue with u on the handling and control, road condition gives u opportunity to learn overtaking, avoid obstacles, zebra crossing/traffic junction road awareness, many right turns completed but yet they only clear u 2-3 sub stages!!!
if u learn in 1-3pm, and ur sub stages requirement is lane change heavy traffic, i wonder how it can be done if no heavy traffic?
for me, the most annoying part is the circuit rather than the main road driving, i have a taste of all circuits course on my 1st stage 3 lesson, i drove with ease but yet, i need another 4 more lesson to complete everything!!
imagine spending 90mins doing the S and crank course??
imagine spending 90mins doing slope and directional change??
imagine spending 90mins doing vertical and parallel parking??
but it did serve some purpose as i get more confident and different instructors giving different tips on sighting points for circuit course.
