Thank u! Now is the 3rd lesson with him.1st lesson explain for 10 mins and I'm already driving! 2nd lesson straight out to the 4 lane main roads and traffic lights. Wow, and he is super patient! All the best to you. Mr Frankie was my PDI as well and I passed on my first try just this morning![]()
Anyone knows how PDIs book circuit slots? We can't go online to book ourselves right? My PDI isn't very cooperative in letting me know what slots are available but keeps wanting me to tell him when I'm free. Then when I tell him he said those timings no slots. Surely there's got to be a more effective and efficient way?
Yes PDI are the one booking for circuit lesson. If I remember, I had never encounter circuit not being able to book but depending on my instructor whether there's already student going for circuit on that time slot. I might be wrong though anyway try going for the non-peak hours if not you will be waiting most of the time especially for parking.
Hi can i get Frankie's number? Thanks
Hi there ,
I just passed my driving yesterday . Highly highly recommed my instructor Mr David Phuan from SSDC. He is very patient with me and he got no temper which I don't know how he do it . I am a super slow learner and he is always encouraging and telling me to relax not to worry . The tips he taught me really helps me a lot during the test . Especially the points to lookout for all the turning and parking. I am staying at Tampines and the fact that I am willing to go all the way there to learn from him , and I can only say that he is really the best . You may contact him at 9712 0290. Pick at at Admiralty Mrt.![]()
Can pm his contact? Thank youYup, auto cdc.
Hello everyone,
I would like some advice.
I got my Class 3 (Manual) driving license more than 10 years ago.
Since then I have not driven a car because my workplace is very near my house. So I took public transport. But now, I wish to buy a 2nd hand car to ferry my family around. I would like to re-train myself for Automatic cars (Class 3A).
Do I need to go through the entire Class 3A course or can I just go for the Refresher Course?
eg:
https://www.ssdcl.com.sg/Courses/Other?course=MotorcarRefresher
https://www.bbdc.sg/bbweb/CoursesAvailable/Class3RefresherCourse.aspx
I still remember how to drive (It's like learning to ride a bicycle. Once you learn, you never forget). Just that I need a bit of practice and also because I have no experience in Automatic cars.
So, full course or Refresher course? Any advice appreciated.
Also, any PDI in Jurong/BukitBatok/Boon Lay/Clementi area to recommend?

Any good PDI to recommend. Will be taking Class3 auto at UBI and intend to take lessons on Sat afternoon. If you have one, can PM me their contact.
Thanks for your reply. What's considered non peak hours? Yeah I feel like my instructor isn't telling me the truth. He just wants to insist I take up this one and only available slot and he said if I don't take it need to wait one month already...
