Reliable Private Driving Instructor?

Hi,

Just to share my experiences with one of the PDI I have recently.

During my first lesson, he was just asking questions if I have drive before and stuff like that. He then begin to shake leg and talk on the phone, badmouthing one of the student he had.

During the next few lessons, he slept in the car, shake leg, talk on the phone and scolded me as if I was an idiot.

On the internet, I have also read bad review about him. So I have decided to change instructor.

Will I recommend him? I will recommend him to you if you want to waste your time and money $. Remember his name: Steven Ong from SSDC (privatedrivinginstructorsingapore.com/)

Ok. I contacted this pdi by name of Leong yew kong. $60 registration , $34 for peak hours learning. Is it a little ex?

For FTT, just buy the book and read will do? what book will you recommend?

anyone can offer advice?

Found another guy, cheaper $28/hr (both peak and non peak)
register: $50.

But no pickup/drop-off

If im not wrong, CDC very difficult to do pickup cuz the traffic damn bad. heard from my frens.

Maybe you can try ledrivinginstructorssg.com. They should be able to help, found my instructor from there (did at SSDC though). The staff v friendly and good to talk to and should be able to give you good advice.

Imo, doesnt really make a difference if theyre agents or not. To me, instructor good is the most important. I had a pretty damn good experience going through them. didnt regret my decision. Theyre quite knowledgeble in this field. Try them out lor

My own two cents

Hello everyone! I just passed few days ago and posted my own experience in the a separate thread in this forum in case anyone reading this thread might want to know in-depth. That's just because I relied on threads in this forum a lot when I just started learning and hope to help others like me before.

I can recommend my private instructor as well if you need, just drop me a PM! I think he takes both private & auto and mainly BBDC but you can try to ask if he does others.

Private Driving Instructors

Hi all, I've posted on this forum before regarding my struggles to find a private driving instructor. My concerns were similar to many others, I want an instructor who is patient, does not scold and most importantly, able to impart his knowledge.

Taking the forumers advice, i signed up with Le Driving Instructors (google them). They were very patient in explaining the process needed to get a license. I simply let them know when i wanted to start and within minutes, i got a lesson fixed up with a instructor.

Just wanted to show my appreciation to these guys at Le Driving Instructors as I just passed my driving test today @BBDC (First time mind you)! Would consider myself a slow learner but the instructor really made me feel at ease and instilled the confidence that i will be able to pass the TP on my first try. I would recommend all forummers to try them out. I believe you won't regret it. Thanks once again guys!
