Any good PDI to recommend for east area? Teaching auto.
Thank you
Thank you
Took my class 3A TP at ssdc and passed on first try! PDI was Mr Hap, highly recommended instructor!
He doesn't take in new students without referral, pm me if you are interested!
Any of you know the driving school that has their cars parked in front of Eunos MRT? Had their number and all pasted on their car but didn't capture it.
Anon, I SO FEEL YOU!!! I knew there were some bad reviews online AFTER I signed up, but only started reading comments seriously aft getting an SMS from one of the instructors (who has never even taught me before) to call the driving ctr from now on to make a booking. Got a lil worried and started calling the ctr repeatedly, but the line's always been engaged. My next move? Make a trip down to the office personally to get my deposit back (if they haven't packed up) and then to CASE if things don't get resolved. My registration fee of S$30 would be a good lesson learnt. Bottomline, I'm quitting this darn school. The only reason I signed with them is because it's so near my place. WHAT A HEFTY PRICE TO PAY FOR PERCEIVED CONVENIENCE. And if the Mr Tan is the same person I think he is (the one handling bookings and referred to as 'the boss' by the instructors), I get what you mean. He ticked me off at a very wrong time, and I screamed at him in the car. He got a lil shocked and said not to mind the way he talks, it's just him being loud (r u kiddin me..). Even my instructor told me he has quit once because he couldn't take his temper! Compared to some experiences of others, I suppose my bad encounters are pretty mild, and I already felt my BP hit a fatal point then! So I can pretty much imagine how bad it must have been for others. Just fyi: I'm 25-30 yr old female with very poor command of Mandarin, and I've apologized about this to Mr Tan if I can't converse well. Not sure if that contributed to a lot of miscommunication & him getting frustrated (which I feel is a terrible injustice to me), but I agree with most on this topic that he needs to keep his attitude in check. On other points, the only instructor I can commend (who taught me 1x, my assigned taught me 3x, only 4 lessons taken in total as assigned instructor called in sick 2x) is Mr Lim. Patient and thorough and I drove really well with him. Too bad that the ringleader is such a pain. Quick to ask for money but slow for everything else. Except maybe to yellumble (yell-and-mumble, I'm sure you guys know this). By the way, NO receipts are issued for any payments made or whatsoever. So yup, I write things down myself in the appt book to note these down. Sigh.. My test date is booked for March 2013 and I'm basically going in gung-ho and making it very interesting for the tester. Till I find another instructor, stay safe and STAY AWAY from Soon Tien!

Sup guys, I just passed my TP test yesterday on my first try. I am a private student driving manual at CDC. I wanna share my thoughts on my intructor.
The no. of lessons I took: 17.
12 of which are normal road and 5 circuits.
Total cost for lessons : (17*12)+(5*60) = $660.
Cost for TP: Originally $260 but I didn't have a warm up so $200.
Total cost $860.
The instructor that taught me was Mr Azman Bin Abdul Rani. His passing rates are 18.07%.
your $200 warm up, does it include the circuit fee? means total is actually $225-230 you pay or just $200 flat ?
Anyway low passing rate does not mean the instructor not good.. some people are just fast learners or talented like you while some may take a longer time..
I not too sure about the circuit fee because he just ask me to pay him $200 flat.
I didnt have a proper warm-up though, i just drive for 10mins before my test.
With proper warm-up it would cost $260 instead.
Yea true low passing rate doesnt not mean the instructor not good. IMO he is a good instructor.
O, if I am not wrong, my $200 include the circuit fees liao.mine charged 200$ for car rental n 25$ for circuit fee for test..
