Sup guys, I just passed my TP test yesterday on my first try. I am a private student driving manual at CDC. I wanna share my thoughts on my intructor.

The no. of lessons I took: 17.
12 of which are normal road and 5 circuits.
Total cost for lessons : (17*12)+(5*60) = $660.
Cost for TP: Originally $260 but I didn't have a warm up so $200.
Total cost $860.

The instructor that taught me was Mr Azman Bin Abdul Rani. His passing rates are 18.07%. Though that might turn you off (exactly what i felt last time), I actually feel that he is an extremely good teacher.
Contact no: 97771800

Here are a list of pros and cons, so you can decide for yourself :).

:s13:
Here we go..
Pros: He is extremely patient, able to speak both english and malay, on time, likes to talk (this could also be a con depends on yrself), he is very organised in his teaching methods, he doesn't scold his students (i have nvr been scolded before), the "cheats" he taught for circuit is extremely useful and easy to understand.

Cons: I never had a 2 hour session with him before (not sure about the others) even though I booked (his reason is got other students who need the lessons more), Didnt had a proper warm-up session even though initially i was suppose to have one (he allowed me to drive for 10mins before my test). He don't teach parking outside of circuit (his reason: learn inside better coz you gona get tested inside not outside).

What I think could be the result of the passing rate could be (IMO la) is students rarely ask questions. If you are ever in doubt, be it when to signal, when to check blindspots just ask him (or whoever is your instuctor doesnt apply to this instructor only).

Be safe when driving guys, all the best and ultimately have fun driving (in a good way). Anything do leave me a message and I will try my best to reply. ps very long

Hi guys perhaps I asked this in a post already.. but since not many notices it.. i shall ask in this thread,
So.. do anyone knows how much you have to pay for Practical test (TP) day fees? Which includes warm-up(1.5hr), circuit fee and car rental?

I was charged $290SGD and felt its expensive :s11:
