Quality is terrible and yet people are paying more for it.

Well, it is what it is.

kudos to him ...for standing to his gun

but i hope he got consult lawyers on his statements before saying again architect got no brains or similiar statements...

of course.. i also feel the same.. when you see condos ... how come they always like to put the closet at the most space inefficent place when IDs have shown better ways to optimize that already small bedroom space to have closet, bed and study area ...
Condo focus on basic and generic design to save costs and suit all, ID design to suit individuals requirements

i stayed in BTO built by in 2013.

i tell u frankly, the quality is ultimate sh1t. compared to the past HDB built before 2000.

i stayed there for 8yrs before i moved out.

1) hairlines cracks on wall throughout the whole 8yrs. u solve it today.. next few months it will appear at another area.
2) living room ceiling water seepage within 1yr of stay, my neighbours same floor was worse, seepage the whole entire ceiling.
3) poor HDB supplied doors. their doors can grow mushroom one.

the video makes me think that the quality has gone down the drain since then.

basic and generic design should be space optimized if you are an architect doing small bedrooms. not just put a closet anywhere you like. it's a design need , not a consideration.
