does overheating kill the battery?

over charged will shorten battery life?
does it auto cut off when its fully charged?

my battery life seems quite short with latest frimware lately, 85% memory used, but i seldom run the games and turn off background tasks.
only 3g surfing once a while.

i wonder does huge memory space used up affect battery life:o

Yeah, we need more details on how to get the battery replaced. Is it at telco or apple service center?

huge memory usage on iPhone will definitely drain out your batt even faster.

I had this syndrome just 2 weeks ago. Singtel service centre did a factory reset and ask me to monitor. They told me to sync instead of restore my backup. True enough batt life seems normal. The service guy said most likely software on iPhone was corrupted

Not sure how true but the batt life was really visibly lasting longer

Before the reset, batt 100% when i slept at 12 am drop to zero when I wake up at 9am.

Hey your situation sounds similar to mine. I got my 3GS replaced a few months back and they gave me a factory model. I restored my backup when I sync for the first time. Ever since then the battery life is like ****.

Dunno whether i should bring it down to apple or just do a factory reset. No warranty already :(

Try factory reset first?

faulty charger or software problem just reset!

Hi, someone in a handphone shop once told me that if the iPhone starts to display " Charging is not supported with this accessory" when using Apple's charger, the battery is showing the sign of "going to up lorry soon". True?

Need advise on this. My iPhone recently display the above when charging and I need to replug a few time everytime to charge the phone. Battery usage drop quite alot, eg. after a full charge drop 11% in 24 hrs without using it. So, is there any problem with my battery?
