Something wrong with pc. Monitor keep showing no signal despite buying new monitor.

I saw graphic card fan not spinning. Reseat the card still the same.

I think it's spoilt, anyone has similar experience.

I am going to simlim to buy new card to try. Maybe this time buy a 2gb ram one.

Not sure if this is enough for Facebook and watching YouTube. Not playing game anymore.

What do you guys suggest. SGD120.00 can get?

Err... usually PC no display even though the PC is running.
Is not the graphic card issue but the RAM.
Have you tried to reseat the RAM? Take out 1 by 1 to test.

I notice something when I watch video for awhile, while the video is still running, I open folder to get some docs. The screen will freeze for a while and made weird sound.

Make sure the HDMI output/VGA is at the bottom not at the motherboard side where USB are at.
Cuz I know some plug into the motherboard display output than the graphic card.
Check under system whether the Intel CPU got any F at the back.
If there's no F than you can test the onboard VGA but you have to remove the graphic card.

More like Windows issue than graphic card.
Cuz graphic card faulty usually under 3D than it will either Green screen or totally no display.
No display there will be sound from the PC like buzzing.

Windows freeze can be RAM or Windows issue, suggest bring to a shop let them troubleshoot for you.

Nope. Mine is relying on graphic card. Bought 2 years ago, lenovo.
lenovo t540 15ick

idk man, looks like your T540 15ick does have a motherboard HDMI port, just that it has a cover on it.

The last time some company did that I just pulled out the cover and used the onboard graphics.

Add: BTW I hope your CPU isn't using a 9400F or 9700F or somethingsomething F, that wouldn't have onboard graphics even if the motherboard has.

Only 1 port can be used which hdmi. Other ports, vga and additional hdmi are not connected to anything.

You can bring your PC down to PC CARE & Solution in SLS to let nigel have a look. Else try to loan a graphic card and try.

Maybe I should just buy a new pc. Cost of repairing and changing parts could be high.
