Red wings price same or more ex than SG... So if you want to buy boots better get japanese brands. Not affected by the weak yen yet ATM.

My advice is to buy heat tech inner wear - more efficient than jacket.

Not really into boots so cant comment. Although I know that you can get really cheap footwear in Asakusa (but quality is another thing)

uuniqlo heat tech ok lah but it not warm enough for sapporo minus temp

tokyo wise should be good enough
like what lapu bro advice if u don't have proper equipments u can hoot when u in jp

unless u be like me I hoot advance on SG as I know how already

Haha... not your usual mama shop ok... Think you will be shocked when you see their shoe selections, the price is even better if you purchase from their factory outlet version but limited sizes

Up to you ba, I came here with a pair of badly used sneakers and am going home with two pairs of new shoe, one pair on my feet and one pair in luggage. Original shoes in rubbish bin. Just had to endure people sniggering when looking at my feet for the first few days before I got my new shoes
