of cos u can, but u need to go thru the course, take the exam, join a company - then u can start advertise in propertyguru and sell your own unit

Nice! Probably not the most efficient way.

I don't have a stable job to begin with.

So if the commission to the agent is about 8k to 12k for selling my hdb, then perhaps I can spend time to explore such an option?

There has been increasing interest to be a property agent with the booooming red hot property market.
1. Is anyone able to summarise the steps needed to be a qualified property agent?
2. Will the property agencies e.g. propnex/huttons subsidise the training cost.
3. Can you be a part-time agent with a full-time job?

(1) Take RES Course. Use skills future to subside the cost. Use NTUC to subside the exam fees. Pass the exam. Find an agency that suits you. In that agency, find a team leader whom can guide you. Buy an account in propertyguru and 99.co. Cold call and try to get your first deal. Slowly you will build up a reputation and a clientele who refers new customers to you. In the meantime do a good job and do social marketing, door knocks, wait in showrooms for new contacts etc.

(2) No. but they conduct revision classes

(3) Yes. Unless you are in Govt job. Or in a bank and finance job.
