Wah… you also camping for RR? Looks like really best buy… bao jiak make money

Not exactly. If price is attractive can consider. The location is kind of odd. I drive past there everyday also didn't think a development can pop up there still. I prefer FH in Leedon or Holland area.

How much is the 2+S? Try Jcube. There is a lot of potential redevelopment there.
i been eyeing this area ever since decoupled first property.. cascadia 1br min asking 2.1kpsf and having maintenance issues (water leaks), mayfair min asking 2.3kpsf and higher monthly maintenance fees that’s why wanted RR but so unlucky. the 2+S were all high 1.9m last 2 weeks. (2.7kpsf)

Congrats, did you get it because of the the schools?
At least you got a unit.. that's the most important..
It means you probably got 23rd floor and up in stack 104..
It will be interesting to see if there is a vertical traffic jam, with 3 lifts serving 8-9 units per floor with about 25 floors of units..

What kind of shops would you guys want to see being setup in the mall? I hope GV and a Karaoke place be some of the key tenants in the place with lots of trendy food options which would be a good contrast to what's already available in the surrounding malls. A good reference would be like Star Vista. Last thing I would want to see is it being stacked with all the enrichment classes type of places. Those can remain in Bukit Timah Plaza and Beauty World. :p

IIRC, no cinema, despite earlier promises...
Karaoke? No la, different crowd leh... worse - some karaoke enthusiast.. haha
Let's hope the mall gets filled up before B Timah Plaza goes on enbloc so the enrichment guys don't all flock over..
However some will, I won't mind seeing Sparkanauts, or Yamaha, plus their Hifi department
Maybe some banks ... I actually prefer NTUC Finest to Cold Storage, but there's one adjacent
Maybe a nice Uniqlo or Decathlon?

Actually Far East don't have a good track record with malls. Look at all their malls in the city centre which are mainly floundering (ie. Far East Plaza, Far East Shopping Centre, Orchard Central). Would have preferred CapitaLand to manage it instead.

FYI, there's some kind of air gap between between the unit and the service lift which is right outside 104.. so you don't get the rumblings of the lift. This lift goes from L5 or 6 to the top / gym.. you might be able to use it and walk down to your unit since you have a high floor... the regular lifts might have other users..
There are two pneumatic chutes, maybe one is for recycling?
These are outside unit 105..
The distance to unit 108 looks rather close... can you shake hands with the guy over there and can you put shoes outside?

Well it would have been nice to have CDL, but it is what it is...

Wonder if FEO have finalized the main contractor appt. Strange that it was not finalized before the project started selling given that they had so much time since Nov 21.

haha you know this area so well. Bukit timah plaza is truly full of tution centres and helper agencies, and not forgetting, in my humble opinion, the best NTUC in singapore

Far East Plaza,Far East Shopping Centre and Lucky Plaza are strata titled malls (i.e. units sold to individual owners) so there is no coordination in the branding and theme of the mall.
For RR, all units belong to FEO and they will manage it professionally.
so can't really compare...

Orchard Central and Clark Quay Central are both FEO managed and not doing well either. Frankly I can't think of a mall that they manage that is really successful.

not sure whether discussed earlier, but I did notice that if you lay the Horizon unit side-by-side with the adjacent 2BR that's roughly 120 degree angle, it becomes clear that from the 2BR balcony, can potentially peek into the 3BR's bedroom. Hopefully those 3BR buyers did detailed diligence... otherwise nasty surprise when they collect keys.
