All my devices iphone or samsung s10 connects at less then 300mbps no matter with he frame enable or disable. Should i rma ?

After reading from page 1-9 this AX88 seems to have more neg reviews than pos. Will reconsider again whether to get it from M1 @ $379 or just go for AC5300.

Most of the negative experiences center around compatibility issues with Wi-Fi 6 which is to be expected given the dearth of Wi-Fi 6 clients.

If you don't need Wi-Fi 6 right now, the ac5300 is a good alternative. I would recommend the ROG version but it does come with a higher price tag.

Merlin does not support GT-AC5300 right? That's part of my consideration as well so likely will just get the RT version.

To those who have wifi disconnection issue with ax88u. You can try disable this setting in 5ghz > professional setting.

Enable Wmm apsd - disable
Enable wmm No acknowledgement - disable

This setting solve my client disconnection issue that have weak coverage.

Challenger selling AX88U for $515 & a pair of AX92U for $675.

Why would a pair of wifi 6 tri band routers cost just a bit more than one wifi 6 dual band router? Am i missing something?

I got a good deal from hachi.tech for the AX92U at $554 on 9th Nov.
