Unfortunately the market share of people who watch influencers is big. That's why nvidia would even work with them to begin with. S**tstorm giveth and s**tstorm taketh away.

I am very sure that nvidia don't mean anything when they apologize. Just a facade. Make the influencer ecosystem think they win, ecosystem watches influencers even more, gets influenced even more. Rinse and repeat. Not the first time, not the first company. And never the last. The ecosystem doesn't realize this is just an endless waltz that benefit both the influencer and the company. But hey they are feeding the industry with $$$ so I'm not complaining.

I mean, let me put it in another way, the ecosystem is angry *now* after it has been *now exposed* about what nvidia has been doing.

But they don't seem to think about "what has been happening" before the expose and the $$$ that they have been feeding to both the company and the influencers. ;)
Nor think about "what is going to happen later"
Or "think".

I have no problem with Nvidia or the influencers making $$$. Passion is all well and good but bills still have to be paid.

What is important is that companies do not get to dictate what reviewers write and by extension, what I as a consumer is allowed to read.

If I only want rainbows and sunshine, I'll watch reruns of Barney the Dinosaur until my brain turns into mush.

Both nvidia amd are same same la...

All companies are the same.

Almost all the so called influenzers are the same rubbish as well.

Companies wanted to sell and advertise, influenzers wanted view counts and ad $$$.

Sho what happened, companies will send free samples, early reviews, ad $$$ for product placement in the videos/reviews and expect some sort of reasonable review not amounting to total dismissal or bashing etc.

Those influenzers however are the most rubbish in the loop, though mileage varies.
They wanted ad $$$, they wanted freedom of critic review, and they also wanted view counts.
Sho what's the actions of the most of those rubbish POS group of ppl?
Demand ad $$$ for product placement, gib their own critical statements, preferable the most controversial, most rubbish, most click baitable and most SJW style orientated as possible to generate view counts.
If they gotch bashed by the companies paying them or sending them free samples or sharing early press materials(and hence early review release and early view count and more subscriptions etc), or the public, then they can "righteously" release a better "video" or statement bashing back.

It does not matter if they ish right, they just need to make it controversial and confrontational, and then click baits video earns them $$$ and influence and view counts.

Dumb readers/viewers will continue to support them against the "oppressive companies" regardless of the real issue at hand.

The more the dumb viewers all support those POS influenzers, the worst this loop gosh.

Gone were the days of old school tech journalism, with in depth technical reviews and probing into the core without care nor concern of deliberately creating sensationalism.
Even AT and THG were going that way these days, some of their modern reviews are full of sensationalised words stashed in here and there. Some of the videos will show the reviews showing funny faces, doing funny things to attract attention and view counts.

The worst thing ish that the dumb viewers knowingly and willingly feed into the vicious cycle.:s13:

Do yourself and the industry a favour, stop feeding them new age trolls.:s13:
