GLA180 is really not a v good car.

please dont just worship the badge and forget that it is after all a 1.6L car.......

The tech in it is nothing to shout about anyway, any other japanese ride also have most of what they are shouting about

Simply put it.... If a car meets all your expectation, then sure have a good review on the car lor and vice versa if the car cmi to your expectation.

Personally, there is no one car that suit all ppl. Else there will be only one brand one model on the road.

You should head down for a test drive and feel for yourself.

Looks nice, I find the slight elevation makes it look better than the A class. Rear seating is tighter. But the 2019 A class is out, so a little wait and you might find the new jacked up GLA.

I think the a class is really cramped at the back though

I 1.8m sit at the back, quite cramped. My altis feels more spacious, at both front and back seats.

Really not sour grapes... just objective comparison. Mercs make nice cars, but i am more for space...

Tested it when I was looking a couple of years ago and it was one that got firmly written off - not a comfortable ride and also not a nice drive. Honestly, if it was the equivalent of a "blind test", I would have thought it's some Korean car. Maybe with the badge and the price, I just expected a lot more.

Its direct competitors in the similar price range will be the BMW X1 and the Audi Q3 (new model in Q2 19 which means if they still have "old stock" it'll usually be laylong)- both of which are so much more comfortable to sit in (size) and the ride's so much better.

Go test drive the car - and while you're there, also go test the GLC / X3 / Q5. If for nothing more, at least it'll be comparison.

When you buy conti, who care about back seat quality as first consideration haha.

When u buy Asian make, you be practical cos you want the ‘best’ compared to Asian makes.

I will. If I can't afford one that has decent leg room, I will not get it. I confess that I am a badge *****, that said, the car im get must at least be comfortable all round.

Saw some car forum they also compare Volvo XC-40 and Jaguar E-Pace with GLA and it seems Volvo has a better review

There are ppl who needs space, regardless of make. Mainly those with family :)

On this series of suv, I once parked beside a GLS, seemed to be spec out with all the AMG features. That car is massive and looks very nice.
