Can withdraw at ATM overseas. Please look through the withdrawal fees if applicable.

Higher rates as in better exchange rates? If so , it is hard to say.
But there is a 1% weekend fee

pardon me, i meant those u top up then transfer back to your own bank account in singapore. You can't do this for youtrip correct?

oh yes i meant the 1% weekend fee, using revolut on weekend has poorer rates than youtrip?

The rate was better, but after 1%, it was worse. I just got this in Taiwan.

Ya, in my experience with it overseas. Youtrip is better during weekend due to the 1%.
However not a big deal, you can just convert to the currency of your choice before the 1% kicks in, then use it as per normal during the time when there's no 1%.

Yes, you cant. However if you ever for some reason want to top up revolut with your CC, please check the TnC or contact them to check if you can transfer back.

If convert currency for Revolut, how to deal with balance after the trip ? Can transfer back to bank account ? If can, is the return exchange rate favourable ?

You might lose, you might gain. No one can predict if it will be good or bad exchange rate the next day.
If you feel that it isn't worth changing back to SGD, can just keep the remainder for your next trip and treat that money as already spent

Ya, can transfer back to bank. Look up the TnC for more details or just try with a small amount to get to know it.

These are my Revolut card settings. My first transaction with Revolut was way back in 2019, I cannot recall the process the already. I have received new Revolut cards when they changed from Visa to Mastercard back to Visa and I don’t recall I need to do anything special. Just activate the card and can use already.

I personally never kana before coz I usually pay at the counter but I have read from the Johor Bahru thread it is dependent on the specific petrol kiosk. Typically you should get the refund within a week, but it’s the holidays and all, your mileage may vary.

Refunded within 2 days, so it's not that bad. Thanks.

Is the 5 free bank transfers based on the calendar month? Like start to end of each month, we will have the 5 free bank transfers?

https://www.revolut.com/en-SG/legal/standard-fees/

SGD Transfers to Bank Accounts in Singapore:

  • A fair usage limit of five (5) free transfers will apply to bank accounts in Singapore ("Fair Usage Limit"). Thereafter, you will be charged a fee of S$2.99 for each transfer to bank accounts in Singapore. Do note, both card transfer and bank transfer count toward the fair usage limit of five (5) free transfers a month. PDA sweep is excepted from the Fair Usage Limit.

Anyone know if you can change your revolut visa to a revolut Mastercard ?
Because withdrawing from atm has a surcharge on Visa card instead of a Mastercard ?
Can cancel and apply again or ask the customer service to cancel and send a new card ?

I tried to use Revolut to transfer yen to a Japanese bank account. The receiving bank tried to charge a 4,000 yen fee on a 1,000 yen transfer as Revolut uses SWIFT! I normally use Wise which has no fees at the receiving bank. Wouldn't recommend using Revolut to transfer money to Japan - it's ok using Revolut to spend there or use ATMs there.

Receiving bank is something Revolut not able to control anyway not unique for them. Wise has the setup done for almost everywhere as long as they are presence, I think there is fee also just that its included as part of the Wise transfer fee so at least you would know before the transfer.
