Standing in front of an ATM overseas with the Revolut card to withdraw cash, how do people propose to determine the local currency amount that will come as close to S$350?

Is there a way in the app to determine this? Or is the way to take, say, S$340 and then hope the local bank/ATM's own cash withdrawal charge is no more than S$10? Note that the local cash withdrawal charge usually shows up at the end, before the cash is disbursed but after putting in the withdrawal amount. So then? Quickly calculate the S$ equivalent of the local withdrawal charge, and if it comes to >S$10, cancel and start with an amount lower than S$340?

I am assuming that you need at least this much cash, and that a single withdrawal will help minimize local bank/ATM's own cash withdrawal charge, the exchange rate and Revolut's own fee-free model notwithstanding.

you are too stressed for so little. No need max out exactly $350. What's wrong with $330? How much will you lose?

just withdraw how much u want/ need. just roughly calculate can already, no need calculate to the exact value. if you wanted higher fee-free atm limits you should be looking at the higher tier plan or another card, there are plenty.

Does ATM have its own withdrawal charge? How to find out? I am planning to use this card in Krabi.

Edit: Thailand ATMs have 220B withdrawal fee, also THB have 1% exchange rate markup, so no point.

S$20 would get me plenty in Vietnam, where cash is king and where I travel frequently. I would get this card precisely to maximize its value. Else, if it comes with hassles I will stick with CIMB StarSaver.

It is not about the $20. It is about how much you save with $20 withdrawal vs all other means. I would say less than $1 saving.

CIMB I believe hiked their credit card FX fees to 3% from 1%. So won't this also affect the atm withdrawals?

i was one of the first few that sign up for the card when it started in the UK. they courier the card over.

now, they are asking me transfer out my funds, so they can close my account?
and ask me to re-apply again?

anyone in the same situation?
what is going on?
i asked, and the CSO says, "due to change in singapore;s regulation" quite vague isint it?

Just for a few months after getting the metal card, before downgrading to $9.99 for the unlimited fx exchange to fund my MCO and Interactive Brokers accounts. :o

how is this beneficial to use Revolut for this?

IB has the min $10 activity fee anyway.

I hesitated when they asked for my NRIC.
Don't know whether to proceed or not.
Don't even know how the card works.

I can't get past the verification stage cos my NRIC pic was taken long ago.
Can I use my passport instead?
Will the different passport number when I renew the passport be a problem?

Managed to verify (somehow) :s12:!
But in order to start, ie in order to get an account, I need to add $20 SGD to my account first :(!

May I know , by default, there is no card unless u choose to order a card? And by default , it is a standard card has no monthly subscription?

You can actually do a credit card cash advance for free. Top up using credit card, then send to your bank account and earn interest. Anybody tried?

Wow, really?
Can send to own bank account?
Is sending to own account instant?

Now I got another problem.
I got stuck at the email verification part.
They said to feedback in- app but I can't find the option to do so.
