Anyone knows if it's possible to topup Grabpay using Revolut?
Got an unsuccessful payment attempt. Whats the country origin of Revolut card?

I know most people use Grabpay to topup Revolut but I kind of topup Revolut by too much and I want to use some Grabpay for other payments.

yes possible. my revolut card is currently under my saved cards in grab app.

else you can also add your revolut card to paypal and top up your grabpay using paypal linked to the revolut card.

Has anyone used revolut for transfers to foreign bank accounts? Were you slugged with SWIFT or TT fees at the other end?

Is it possible to fund a foreign visa debit card using the revolut card? Are there any revolut fees?

I've tried China, UK, US, Korea, India. No one complained about any fees. In fact, even if there are fees, they should have built it into the pricing for any foreign transfer incoming fees. For example, US bank accounts would charge incoming TT fees, but since this was made like a US local transfer, there is no incoming wire TT fee as well.

i tried sending to my account in thailand. 200baht fee was omitted from the sent amount which i suppose was charged by the receiving bank as incoming OTT fee. it was reflected on my account as International transfer and not local transfer.

Yeah I have no idea how this works but the fees seem to be country specific. I tried a transfer to Australia and there was no fee and the payment said it came from Instarem!

I've been topping up using a virtual GPMC. I now have an unactivated physical GPMC is there problem topping up using the physical card? I'd hate to activate it and not be able to topup using this method anymore.

Not all countries are local transfers wo. Only US seems so, for those I tried. The rest all are by SWIFT code.

My USD transfer from Revolut to my SCB USD account failed. SCB told me they never received any funds. For swift payments it’s just BIC code and account name and number right?

Most cards exclude top up to Revolut from any rewards.

How much did you transfer? I tried to transfer 5USD to test water previously but it did not go through. Received the full amount back in my Revolut account though. According to Revolut support, the amount I transferred was too low such that the fees will take everything away so the transfer just...bounced instead.

Does withdrawing foreign currency instead of sgd to local bank make it any better (in terms of abusing the system)?

I just tried in JB Maybank last Sat before 8 am. Was successful, and remember to select 'Savings account' instead of 'current account' or 'credit card'.....

When I returned to SG, I received a 'welcome back' msg from Revolut. Hahaha
