Let me make other transaction and try again. Thanks

I think I read somewhere you can't keep making transactions at the same merchant. You need to have transactions at other merchants to reset their "security limits".

Silly and dumb question (cause I am lazy to research)

Anyone knows if we can use revolut for trading a/c? E.g like Interactive Brokers (lite)?

oddly, all the dates u mentioned are the same as mine... expected 10 Jan, but nothing yet...

I will wait till tml before calling my bank to check. Used revolut live chat and they mentioned transfer is successful.

Topping up with a credit card and withdrawing cash is considered a 'cash advance', Revolut will not like it.

Specifically: https://www.revolut.com/en-SG/legal/terms
19.1. It is not permitted to:
18. provide yourself with a cash advance from your credit card (or help others to do so);

I've been topping up with a debit card and sending $ to my accounts in other countries, and it works great.

I used the card overseas and is only withdrawing the remaining balance.. anyway revolut mentioned that transfer is successful so just got to wait..

If wrong bank/swift code the transfer won't be successful.

Seriously, nothing good will come out of trying to game the system.

You may end up making a police report just like some other dude.

It sounds perfectly reasonable to withdraw back to one's account the money left over after spends/ATM withdrawals overseas. It is no different than using the debit card function to spend any remaining S$s. And by left over, I mean small sums of money - 10-20 types.

I sure hope that Revolut has an algorithm that helps it differentiate people manufacturing spending and gaming the system vs genuine people using the card for legitimate purposes but not leaving funds inside the Revolut account.

I think you can forget it, and dont waste your time to make other transactions. The transaction will still be declined. Just use Youtrip instead for these Nets transactions.

Do you have any update on this? I have the same transfer date as you and have yet to receive also...

i have contacted DBS and they said to ask revolut to raise a tracer with their bank so that they can trace the payment.

Edited: Revlout is asking me to wait till Wednesday as the transfer was executed on 8th Jan and i need to wait for at least 5 working days.
