How do u get the remaining funds out first? Or would it be fastest to transfer all the $ to a trusted friend who is on revolut then he gives u cash or paynow to u?
Hi, I would like to ask a question on the following whether is it illegal or not.
Eg, Transfer fund of $5k to Revolut to earn 1% cashback (from standard charted card) which is $50. After that then transfer the $5k back to the bank acc via fast transfer..
Sounds like fraud but is it legal/allowed?
Really wont be "marked" for wiring back to own sg bank acc? It's not illegal, but Revolut has been excluded from SC cashback since early May. Please read the card T&C.

Because if so you can just keep trying different cc
Have anyone tried withdrawing into DBS account before? Does DBS inward TT incur any fee? I read online it mentioned there is a $10 fee for transfer into a SGD Current account, but there is no mention of Saving account. Are they the same?
it’s the same. but fees will be waived if you are priority banking customer. i tried withdraw twice and there was no fee.
Revolut will limit your account and ask you to explain why you keep transferring the balance back to yourself

My wife's account got flagged. CSO responded immediately and unlocked it almost immediately. Claims it is fine if I top up in SGD, but transfer out in USD. But would not be ok if I transfer out in SGD. Not sure how well trained their CSOs are. As per below, my own account has been blocked for 2 weeks, initial CSO was not able to resolve the issue, now waiting for some higher up.Is transferring to family member a way to get around this then
Btw the few posts above say until like no issue to withdraw to own bank acc
Revolut is notorious for holding people's funds for months, because their compliance department will take ages to reply and investigate once your account gets flagged.

Just had my account funds held for 2 weeks, and counting. Never had it held so long previously.
They always ask me, why do I transfer out my funds immediately after topping up, and I have been wanting to answer that if they want to hold my funds for so long, why would I want to have any funds held inside. I once put in few K inside, waiting for weekday to exchange currency, and they flag the account for a few days. I would not put in any amount for more than a few hours without transferring out, that I cannot afford to lose.
That’s a fair compliance qn. “Why do you transfer out immediately ?”
Regardless of whether they hold your funds or not. If you top up and transfer out, might as well don’t top up at all.
So obvious that you are gaming something on the top up end .
