Small issue. Just that for Chinese our surname will be behind instead of in front. Those who received the card, is that correct?

If your name is Chew Ah Kow, Eugene, it'll show as Ah K E Chew. Not entirely happy with this, but they said they don't do Preferred Names.

Yup. Need to note that by default, there is a 1% markup on Thai Baht and Ukrainian Hryvnia at all times.

Hence, mark Up are as follows:
  • +0.5% to all major currencies (ie. USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD, NZD, CHF, JPY, SEK, HKD, NOK, SGD, DKK, PLN, and CZK)
  • +1% to all other currencies including THB and UAH. (this means over the weekend THB and UAH have a 2% markup.)

Wow, thanks. Looks like for Thai bhat, it's best to stick to youtrip.

Any idea what is YouTrip's markup?

youtrip has no markup, it simply follows the Mastercard Rate.

only upon ATM withdrawal there's a SGD$5 fee levied, otherwise, normal Mastercard transactions on the physical card no additional fees.

It's been more than 48 hours and I haven't got the verification passed yet. My initial verification attempt got rejected and I did it again but haven't heard since. I can't access live chat because the app brings me direct to the pending verification page, any idea how I can contact revolut on this?

I tried. The contact number they gave is only for cancellation of lost cards. All other enquiries they said to go to live chat in the app. Problem is I can't access the app because I'm still under verification..

as per Revolut site:
*The interbank exchange rate is provided for most currencies during weekdays. A small fee is applied over the weekend, on UK public holidays and for certain currencies.

hence, it is dependant on UK's PH. the next time one can test this theory is next UK PH on X'mas that happens on a Wed.

has anyone tried to fund in with USD directly from local bank to USD revolut??

Right now SG users can only add money to their SG Revolut account via debit/ credit card issued in any country but top up is in SGD only.

SG bank transfer still not be available to SG users yet. Give them some time to work on this further. Hopefully this will be soon.

I think global Revolut users can transfer their pre-funded currency in their Revolut account to your Revolut account as it is without fees.

From what what i observed, Revolut rate tend to be better than Youtrip during weekdays, but once the weekend comes, it's the otehr way round :s22: . So, get both card, and time your usage.

right.. so using SG cc to top up incurs no fee at all?
i always thought topping up with CC will have some kinda fee involved.

how long does this topping up take?

Credit/ debit card top up incurs no fees. Money just takes 1 to 2 seconds to appear in your Revolut.

It also have many cool & useful features like setting your target fx rate for selected 12 currencies where u can pre-fund, best done during London weekdays Mon to Fri.
