Lol, they keep pushing and blame their payment processor that blocked the payments, haha.

My top up is fine, but transfers out is "confirmed", then refunded. Same for multiple SG and US bank accounts.

Say is not Revolut blocking my account, when they are able to "confirm" the transfer, but is the payment processor declining my transfer. Other revolut accounts can transfer to the same bank account.

From December 1st, for Standard and Premium customers, there will be a small charge for local and international cards top ups to your Revolut account, to cover the costs levied by the card schemes for this service.

Local cards top up fee will be waived for Metal plan customers.

I use a credit card to fund Revolut. If Revolut goes bust/takes my money I thought it would be possible to do a charge back. Am I mistaken? Does the credit card offer any protection?

I know that if I do a bank transfer then the risk is all mine and I have absolutely no protection if they don't perform - apart from taking civil action which isn't really an option and has no real chance of getting any money back.

I'm just considering whether or not it's worth continuing to use after November or am I currently bearing the risk even using a credit card so it's not really any more risky than making bank transfers? Revolut is getting slower and slower transferring funds and I don't understand their business model so I have my concerns.

Yeah, of course that's the easiest option. Funding Revolut with a credit card seemed to offer some protection, but if they are going to charge a fee for topups then there isn't any point in using it. I note that in 2019 they made a loss of 107M gbb on income of 163M gbp and each customer costs them on average 2 gbp. As I said I don't understand their business model but currently they offer the best rates for no fee international money transfers.

Guess I'll go back to using Transferwise after 1st December - at least they have a business model that makes a profit and seems pretty safe. The recent Wirecard fraud and debacle has given me pause for thought.

Yeah but I don't use a credit card to fund Transferwise. The risk of Transferwise going out of business in the 3-4 hours while my intl transfer is processed is basically zero so I'm not concerned doing a bank transfer to them.

I'll wait and see how much Revolut is going to charge after 1st December for credit card topups and take it from there. Without the protection the credit card affords it feels to me that using Revolut funded by bank transfers will be like picking up pennies in front of a steamroller. Too much risk for me. Good while it lasted.

I tried to chat with the live agent, then I was transferred to the relevant team. But the relevant team didn't respond with any words for a week. I cannot start a new chat, because chat with the relevant team is still active.

Anyone know how long does the review take? How can I touch them now? Thanks.

Anyone has any issue with the rewards? Was trying hard to use the 56% buying myprotein stuff however upon checkout I was shown with promo code expired 30th Sept. Logged a case with the customer support for more than a month no reply. They insist issue with merchant and the promo code is still valid. Fed up with them as always have the chats opened and hold for days...
