no need. i’ve recently topped up my revolut account using my thai account debit card directly. just that before confirming the top up there will be a prompt tell you that your card is not in sgd.

Just topped up 10xS$20, then got banned... The S$200 is still in the Revolut account. And I only had S$200 in my Revolut account.

A CSO told me to transfer this S$200 to my bank account, then they would close my account.

lucky lo they let u transfer. in this case the multiple topup trigger the system flag

I believe if you do not do it daily, should be fine.
Generally, they will send you warning first. 2 warnings before they close the account.

Now that FAST transfer is available, i wonder if i can transfer funds to Revolut and then periodically send funds back to my Malaysian bank account like once a month? Will it get flagged like those credit card top up abuse? Essentially i don't have to go thru physical money changer anymore if that's allowable. Best forex rate with zero transfer fee.

Not sure why they will flag when the Payment Services Act means that everyone based in Singapore can only do up to 30k of third-party transfers.

yes unless you’re on metal plan. use the FAST transfer method to top up to avoid fees. the crediting is almost immediate

They haven't started charging for CC topups yet. Think it starts 1 Jan? Anyway, not gonna bother honestly speaking... Once it kicks in, i'll just withdraw out all remaining balances, then switch completely to youtrip.
