Hi, may I know if anyone has replaced the revolut standard card successfully? I always encountered the error message in the last step. It says "We're sorry, something has gone wrong. Please try later".
You mean ordering the card or activating

Weird that they are transiting to Mastercard.. Infact, most moved away from Mastercard to Visa just like WISE...

Anyways, yesterday night my Revolut virtual card (which I have never used before) got compromised.. The 'hacker' attempted to use my card but was denied due to insufficient funds in there..

I wondered why there wasn't any 3DS notification.. :cautious:

And how they obtained the information especially my cvv because I did not even attempt to use the card nor input it in any merchant sites before..

Do stay vigilant guys..

3DS just means it's harder for the cardholder to dispute. It's a mechanism for banks to shift liability to the cardholder, as we saw with the recent fraud cases and how some Obnoxious Crappy Banking Corporations refused to entertain disputes until MAS pressed them.

Usually, merchants who opt out of 3DS have to pay higher rates for processing cards, but they could want to do so for lower friction (e.g. Amazon).

CVV is the same. You don't need the CVV to charge a card, and a wrong CVV makes it much easier for the cardholder to win a dispute.

I received my MC card already.
Activated in Revolut

But then I cannot quite add the card to Simplygo, the page after inputing the card details on NETS, it will show adding of card is unsucessful.

I managed to add my replacement MC to SimpleGo no issue, maybe try again later.

i give up

have been trying to add the card to SImplygo for the past 4 days, more than 10 times. The CSO even told me that i need to use it physical at a terminal to "activate" it even I had activated it online. I even went down to the super market to use it by inserting it at the machine for payment. Despite that, the card can't still be added to Simplygo.

Just going to cancel it.

you don't need register SimplyGo to use it. Just you can't check the transactions.

The issue has been a few months already for Revolut cards

the previous revolut card can be added though

it is useful to add to monitor and to dispute any wrong charges.

It was a problem for Visa Revolut cards for a long time, but I managed to add mine a couple of months ago. My replacement MC thankfully was added successfully last night.

Yes it took a very long time to resolve we recall. It was never possible to add Revolut for a phase.

Created a virtual card and re added the virtual card(MC) details to SimplyGo.... And this time it worked...

I think once your card fails the authorisation, it will forever be rejected

Anyone charged for Gojek and the transaction description came up as "Velox Digital Singapore"?
I had several Gojek transactions and some showed as Velox and some showed correctly as Gojek.
Not sure why, but hopefully it doesn't cause an issue for the 20% rebate.
Just to update in case anyone interested, the 20% gojek rebate was credited on 25 Mar and I did receive the correct rebates including those gojek trips under "Velox Digital Singapore".
