Hi all,

Anyone with experience using Revolut overseas? Want to check what hacks/hidden fees/etc I should be aware of? I am going overseas for 2 weeks and plan to use YouTrip or Revolut.

Will need to apply for Revolut so want to know if it's worth it

Thanks!

No hidden fees. It's all stated clearly on their website (https://www.revolut.com/en-SG/legal/standard-fees).

If you are just going to use the card for spending, I'll go with Youtrip. At least you don't have to worry about the weekend surcharge. Besides this, there's very little difference between the two.

Can I use Revolut in Korea? Can't find Korean won currency in the list. Does that mean cannot use?

I just flew back from Korea. Just use directly although please prepare 1 or 2 other physical cards to standby when it doesn't works, they're very very not contactless friendly to foreign cards. Revolut works 9/10 times

Will some of the bank ATM charge some fee for Revolut cash withdrawal? Heard that some MY banks do charges. In TH there are so many bank ATM which one charge or don't charge is there a way to find out?

Revolut's TH baht rate isn't that competitive as they have also stated outright on their site.. Better to just use Youtrip..
