Sounds more like your credit card’s bank problem if you can’t see a charge appear immediately in your online banking.
Besides, when the cashier hands you the credit card charge slip, you just throw into the trash without looking?

for banks, the pending amount you see immediately does not include foreign currency transaction fees and the exchange rate will fluctuate from the time the transaction is charged to the time the transaction is posted.

Oh ok I get it now. Although that tiny fluctuation still isn’t a big enough factor to win me over using a debit card for a foreign transaction, especially when chances of fraud or delivery disputes are higher.

Live chat with revolut agent on monday regarding the March public transport rebates.
Agent immediately asked if i was using Mastercard and to my surprise, told me that the rebates will be in end of the week. I was not asked to provide anything.

Just checked and rebates are in today.
thanks for your sharing :)

I followed your cue and started a chat with them yesterday. the CSO asked me to screenshot all the bus/mrt transactions (from SimplyGo) and today I received the 10% rebate for the month of March.

my previous attempt to check about the rebate for mastercard users was, on the contrary, an unsuccessful attempt to get them to look into it. not sure why this time round, they had a change in their stance.

wouldn't have gotten the rebate without your post. thank you (y)

thats great, i decided to check in cos someone mentioned here his 'appeal' was successful.

i was surprised the CSO that attended to me didnt ask me to provide anything, just put me on hold for quite awhile and then told me that rebates will be in. i rmb asking oh really? and the reply was yes, they will honour it 🙃

There is a 1 month free trial promotion. It's mentioned that it's an annual plan so after a free trial period. I will be charged premium fee for a year if I don't cancel?

Looking to upgrade for higher atm withdrawal for my trip next month.
